Sandra Gidley is the Liberal Democrat MP for Romsey. She was elected in a by-election in 2000 and retained the seat in 2001 and 2005.
Since March 2006, Sandra is also the Liberal Democrat Shadow Health spokesperson. This site contains details and news of Sandra's work on behalf of Romsey, and also about her work on health issues.

New figures, uncovered by local MP Sandra Gidley reveal that violent crime in Southampton has risen by nearly a third (31%) in the past five years, while in the Test Valley borough it has increased by a worrying 21%. This compares with only an eleven percent rise in Hampshire overall.

Startling new figures obtained by local MP, Sandra Gidley, have revealed that fewer ambulances in the borough are responding to Category A* calls on time as more ambulances are being pulled into the Southampton urban area in order to hit centrally driven targets.
